You will find many chalets in the Kremnica Mountains, but very few offer two identical villas right next to each other. That is exactly what makes Vily pod lesom special: a large group can stay together while still being comfortably divided between two separate houses.
A family celebration where the younger guests can enjoy themselves in one house while grandparents and children sleep peacefully in the other. Two families who want to spend time together, but not necessarily share the same kitchen. A company retreat where the whole team stays in one place, without anyone having to sleep on a sofa.
We are located at the end of the village, surrounded by forest. The nearest neighbour is far enough away that your company event will not disturb anyone — and you can enjoy your stay without having to constantly keep the noise down.
Each villa is completely self-contained, allowing everyone to stay together while still enjoying plenty of privacy.
One villa offers 14 full-size beds, four separate bedrooms, a large children's room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and three toilets.
Both villas together offer 28 full-size beds plus additional sleeping spaces on sofa beds. You also have two completely separate living spaces, each with its own kitchen and entrance, making the villas ideal for larger families, groups of friends or corporate stays.

Krahule – nature, skiing, wellness and day trips within easy reach.
Vily pod lesom are located at the peaceful edge of the village of Krahule in the Kremnica Mountains. Skiing, hiking trails and the geographical centre of Europe are all close by, while many other attractions and wellness destinations are easily accessible by car.
Ski Krahule
The ski resort is approximately 600 metres from the villas. In winter, you can enjoy downhill skiing as well as cross-country skiing in the immediate surroundings.
Geographical centre of Europe
Krahule lies in the area traditionally associated with the geographical centre of Europe. The well-known monument near Kremnické Bane is only a short distance from the villas.
Krahuľský vrch
The observation tower on Krahuľský vrch offers views across the Kremnica Mountains. The educational Green Trail also leads through the surrounding forests and mountain meadows.
Kremnica
A historic mining town with a town castle, the Museum of Coins and Medals, a mining exhibition in the Andrej mining gallery and the unique Alley of Famous Noses.
Skalka
A ski resort, cross-country trails, hiking and a via ferrata in the Kremnica Mountains offer plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities in both winter and summer.
Thermal pools & wellness
For a half-day trip, visit Spa & Aquapark Turčianske Teplice (approx. 25 min), Vodný raj Vyhne (approx. 30 min), Sklené Teplice Spa with the unique Parenica cave bath (approx. 35 min), or Holidaypark Kováčová (approx. 45 min). The outdoor swimming pool in Žiar nad Hronom is approximately 25 minutes away by car.
Ideas for a full-day trip
Banská Štiavnica – a historic mining town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, approx. 45 min by car. Banská Bystrica – approx. 40 min by car. Bojnice – castle, zoo and spa, approx. 50 min by car.
